Just a few little up dates!

Just thought I'd post some pics of some updates that I've done to my sedan.
1.New hood ornament,a vent from atop a kerosene lantern.My tail lights are made from kerosene lanterns.
2.Door handle,made from an lod wrench
3.Brake pedal,made by me just to be different
4.Gas pedal,made by me! You know........push the "skinny" pedal on the right!

Some more!

1.trim for bottom of car.Going to run all the way around car.
2.Gas fill, made from old kerosene light like my tail lights.
3.Gas fill open.
4.Origonal gas tank fill with cap from Allis Chalmers gas tank that my scoop is made from.
5.Tail light I will be using for, well my Tail lights!

I cut an Allis Chalmers gas tank in half , rolled two tubes,made butterflys on a shaft,bolted to a base and installed a 12'' air filter.

Ratrods are just about having fun! My favorite is the stopsign brake pedal! That idea will be showing up at cruise nites around
the country before long.

I like it all!!!!!!!!!!! I'm collecting ideas for my Caddyrat if I ever get a chance to build it. If you ever come down south and see a 49 Caddyrat don't even look inside at the brake pedal. I borrowed a plasma cutter from a friend that went to Puerto Rico for a year and he said he'd get it back when he got back. I've been itching to use it for something useful. I also like the gas tank for a breather idea. I saw a sporster tank sitting in the trash behind a cycle shop the other day and I'll be retrieving it tomorrow for my breather. Too Cool. Harleyboy

The air cleaner is bad AZZ, I've seen it in person, Mr Gusset is a fabicating genious.
HOW ABOUT SOME PICTURES OF THE GRILL SHELL YOU MADE FROM SCTRATCH,... HE DOESN'T HAVE IT ON HIS CAR BUT IT PRETTY IMPRESSIVE LOOKING AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT GRILL FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT,....

As someone always post on here "LOTS OF PICTURES, we like photos"

Oh yeah almost forgot, like the brake pedal, got an idea for my own "skinny" petal. It is the GAS petal, what do you think about one cut out to look like an old gas pump?

Here is the grill that I made from the tops of a 54 Plymouth Plasa!Was going to use it but narrowed up a 29 for the 29 instead!
