Customer of mine has an 08 Z06 that we have done Kooks long tubes, corsa exhaust, AA corvettes supercharger on in the past. Puts down 575 RWHP. he has run a 12.1 @ 125 in the 1/4 with street tires. we now just put on 345 35 18 mickey thompson et street drag radials and a line loc. We will see if we can get it to the low 11's as it should be running tonight if the rain holds off![cl

I doubt drag radials will get him in to the low 11's. Vettes are notorious for traction problems and have limited space in the rear tire area, too much horsepower to get to the ground effectively.

My daily driver supercharged (540 hp) 1999 C5 is good for low/mid 12's with sticky street tires. I haven't run it with drag radials or slicks. I won't be surprised at all if you click off a mid 11, as long as nothing breaks.

My buddy supercharged his C6 & actually ran a slower time than B4 because of traction issues. He started running drag radials but still spins the tires nearly all the way through the 1/4 & can't get out of the 12's. Go figure!!!

Nice ride. Funny you should say that.... first run with the owner driving 12.01 @ 125mph. second run with me driving 11.3 @ 128mph. after a stern warning about safety equipment (no cage, 5 point harnesses, or fire suit for 11.499 or quicker) we tried to get tossed out. went to launch at 4K rpm (starts makeing boost at 3600) we fragged the stock ckutch! Lucky enough after letting it cool for 40 min the owner was able to drive it home. 1st 2 runs we launched at 3K and it bogged off the line. Fun night![cl

I would too! but at $19k just for the motor, no tranny or supercharger it gets expensive. But it is fun to work on and play with even though it isn't mine. [dr

Nice run! I'm waiting for my clutch to let go but so far it hasn't. That seems to be the weak link in the Corvetes when you get some power in them.
