A *real* tin magnet
Darn, I just talk too much. I saw an ebay seller with old car parts about 80 miles from me. I messaged him and we ended up talking on the phone tonight. He wants my 37 Dodge pickup. So we are chatting away and the nice young man has obviously some affinity for rusty tin but not so much the value. Then he tells me about a car he and his dad drug out of a dam. It had not been under water complettly and the glove box still worked, top and door tops good ect. Turns out it is a 32 3 window and I have to blab what it's worth. He didn't have a clue. I could have handily traded the 37 Dodge for $5000 worth of 32 roof. if I hadn't told him what it was worth first. Is there a punch yourself in the face emoticon? Ahh well, I couldn't take advantage of someone anyway. He has a ravine full of old cowls, doors and stuff that I can have at, including a whiole good back end for my 24 Chevy roadster.
