I very seldom go shooting anymore but for plinking I always liked my Ruger old army cap and ball. The smell and the smoke was all you could ask for, plus it was relatively cheap to shoot!

as a reloader my .44/.357.454casull etc are as cheap to shoot as the .22lr i cant buy ammo for.

I shot a 44 mag for 2 rounds. I don't need to shoot one ever again! I'll stick to my 45 Colts.

I have over 10,000 rounds of 22lr. That's probably why you can't find any.

i have fired untold 1000s of .44 and 45 ect.
and since i can make them at any power level i want
thats just what i do.
