'Vette brake specialist!
so I decided to call Lojack and get the scoop since the web-site manages to give you lots of info without the important stuff such as price, etc.
With a key-fob and early warning system (they call if your car moves without the use of your keyfob)- $995
Lojack tracking only (if you realize your car is stolen)- $695
Install takes about 45 minutes and they come to your office or home.
Heres the deal breaker, i told her I do alot of work on my car, what happens if I do something and disconnect the battery and reconnect it when i'm done. Is this an issue? She said that i should have it inspected everytime the battery is changed or if i get a stereo, etc (which isn't what i was really getting at but i didn't try to expalin it to her) So? Anyone here have lojack on an older car? I'm thinking this is more geared towards newer cars and people that don't work on them, which is too bad because it would really be nice to have, even at $1000.
