Hey All, Clipper here, back after a long summer of racing. Back in january I was given the task to head up our teams fabrication shop. We bought out what was left of a major shop (24 employees at its height) that had fallen on hard times. The shop had been packed up and stuffed into 2 25x50 bays. After a few weeks of sorting thru boxes and pallets of parts, jigs, fixtures and equipment we started with 4 empty bays (approx 6000 sq ft). Coming up with the placement of all this equipment was quite a job. Heres some pics of what I get to work with.

I have been busier than a one legged man in a a$$ kicking contest this summer but it has been quite an experience. I will be posting some pics of the builds I have going on at my home shop soon. Clipper.

Awesome, is the new build a truck?

There is a similiar shop selling out here, all aluminum, they manufactured ramps or something I guess. They have a Bridgeport drill press I drool over everytime I see the sale bill.

Willowbilly3 the new build is a car not a truck. Is the Bridgeport in good shape? any tooling? That would be a great addition to your shop.

The only problem is as soon as you buy one you get hooked on making things yourself, then you become a machine buying junkie.
