The other day I was at mom and dad's dhouse and happen to notice a few pictures hangin in the hallway. The pictures were of my late grandpa with his Harley's. What I wouldn't give to have any of them. The pictures aren't that great cause I took a picture of a picture with my cell phone. One day I will have to pull them out of the frame and scan them.

When he was 16 on his 37, this picture is from in front of the house where he and my dad grew up.

I don't know why but I didn't get a picture of the 42 Panhead, all the pictures where in the same frame but I missed that one some how. Little fun tidbit, he traded the 48 for a corn picker for his farm. That was the last bike he ever had.

Just thought they were neat pictures and you guys might enjoy them.

Very Nice....

Was checking out some pics a few weeks ago..had some pic's of my G/pa with his old bathtub rambler and a 51 Stude....I can only remember when he got his new 57 Chevy after he was working for GM....it was that salmon color and white.... pretty'ist thing I'd seen ....of course I was 6...LOL

Isn't it amazing how we thought our parents weren't kool and then see picks of them in their teen age years.
Most of the time they actually out kooled us

So true! I thought my dad was such a square growing up. Years later my mom filled me in on how much of a hellian he was.

He and his 3 buddies in college were known campus-wide as "The drinking 4", lots of stories around that as you can imagine.

Those are some very cool pictures. Make sure your Mom and Dad know they are to go to you someday.

I have very few of my family, we weren't picture takers for the most part. But I do have one of my Dad playing in his band, he is the sax player on the right side of this picture.

He died when I was only 11 so I didn't get to know him well, but my Mom told me he was a hellraiser and a ladies man.

My Grandpa was a very special person to me, one day I hope to be half the man he was. Lookin at some of his pictures makes me think that me and him could really relate as I have grown.
