found this really odd and big car today in the woods. only tag on the car i can find is:
Fisholow
fisher and ludlow ltd
body number 464240 lh

I found on google they made bodys and differnet panels for sorts of things. looking for car that that would would of built in the 40's

the car i found has a distictive shape to it. its some where in the 40's and has is pretty long and also a 4 door?

due to the trees around it it was hard to get a picture of the full car but i got a picture of the front

I was asleep at the wheel. Here's what I had before my snooze,


Fisher and Ludlow built bodies for a bunch of English manufacturers. Austin, Morris, Jaguar, Rover and Standard Motor Company.

I believe what you have is a Standard Vanguard Phase 1. Don't know what year, it looks like Phase 1's were built from '47 to '51 and used the same grille.


No luck with the body number, but I found a few pics. :D

You guys are amazing - I've never even heard of this car or even seen a picture 'till now. [cl
Dr. C , the factory pics are kool, all those guys wet sanding the primered bodies while they move past on the line is quite a sight. [P
 
Thats it!!! when i looked at the front i figuresd van guard because there are thousands of them here. But when i looked at the back of the car it looked way to big to be you normal vandguard.

those woods up by you sure are awesome...

that hood looks huge... any idea what its from?
 
hahaha... someone told me to be selling the parts but i rather give them away or to share them to ppl who could use them.
