we drove to get the rod yesterday
700 miles
now i gotta unload it off the hi-boy trailer
its been in storage for six months.
i am putting for sale signs on it and using it for a daily driver.
i havent had fun with it in a long time.

Hope it goes to the plan. I occasionally think about selling my rpu, don't really use it much but then I realize that was a once in a lifetime commitment and a huge amount of my life went into it and think, nah, let the kids fight over it. Or maybe take it way out in the middle of now where and stick it in an old barn, let some one find it someday.

havent started it in six months
turned the key and IMMEDIATELY its running.
it doesnt turn over at all
it starts the second i turn the key

i dont see it for a while. and i know i have a cool car. but then i get in it and remember just how freakin neat this thing is. everywhere i go people are taking pictures of it.

I found it odd that not many people give my rod a second glance. I can go to a gas station to gas up and everyone just walks past it, maybe one person in 30 will give it a good look or make a comment. Maybe I look too intimidating, lol.

Glad you got home.
If you sell it and want an old dodge dually rat give me a call.
It's going down the road to finance something else.
I'm bored not having something to build on every day.

This I don't understand unless your town is small and people see it all the time.

I'm in a dinky little place and people still stop and take pix, throw thumbs up out the windows and I get alot of cool comments. I eat regularly at one of those side of the road bbq places and people pull in to look at the truck and wind up eating there. My bbq guy loves it when I visit for a while...

Stupid cowboys and tourists. Even during the bike rally I can pull into the station with 50 yuppy Harley riders and maybe one or two will even notice. Weird

When you figure out how you made that happen, let me know [ddd.

I can't go anywhere with mine without a conversation beginning. Apparently I look friendly?

Although the guys that pull up into your blind spot in the passing lane and just sit there looking at your vehicle are really getting tiring... I guess it's a good time for a winter break!

Billy, hopefully if you get to drive the truck a bit you'll change your mind on selling it! For what you're asking I'm surprised it's not long gone!

Called my bud, left a message, waiting to hear back. I'll see if sis cares if we park it out by the road with a big for sale sign and your number.
