whats up people?

what do you guys use to hold the master cylinder push rod to the master cylinder on the floor mounted master cylinder?

Usually, the push-rod just threads right in to the master.

The push rod has to be attached to the brake pedal via linkage etc which holds the pushrod in place

a light spring to hold the pedal and pushrod against the m/c isn't a bad idea.

On the assy that we build and sell. We weld in a bar that keeps the pedal from falling back, this keeps the rod in the master. We sell these on Ebay.
