Mn rat title

Oh, great gurus'
i bought a 40 chev cab inc the orig vin tag, but no title... am in the process of resurecting a truck, now i seek wisdom... How do i get this thing titled?? Local minnesota dmv says records/reciepts, and an inspection (scarey word)...
On-line title help wants $900.00 ... Am seeking guidance

Find a title, one for those trucks shouldn't be that hard to find.

In Michigan it's fairly easy. Make sure the vehicle isn't stolen or in trouble first. You need a bill of sale. Then go to the DMV and get a "Green sheet". Call the State police, have them come out and run a check on the VIN. If it comes back clean, they sign the green sheet, you take it to the DMV and they send you a title in the mail.[cl

On my 31AA I have to pull the body off the frame to get to the VIN numbers, as they are on top of the frame rail drivers side. The truck come from my Uncle, so no problem there.

Just use the tags off something else and worry about it later.
