The hot rod I am building stayed home because we had rain in the forecast, and the truck is not really mine.... gotta take care of it.
But I went over and walked through the sprinkles to see the show.

So that is, out of hundreds of cars, my highlights. Then I headed back 90 miles of rain soaked interstate. At 80 miles per, we blew a front left on my Dodge 1 ton dually truck, and my son and I changed the tire in the rain. (what is it that makes people stay in the right lane, when no one is in the left lane, and there are two guys changing a tire on the shoulder?) Just after we got it changed, a truck load of spare tires drove right by us.

So much neat stuff, thanks Bonehead !! The frame on that C10 is a work of art - wonder how many people got jabbed by the spikes on the Diamond T (nice ride tho..[cl) also some scary stuff like the A that looks like it just ran over its own front end

Now that's a great show! Thanks for all the pics.

Looks like that one with no room between the axle and frame came in on a tow bar.

Looks like a good turnout in spite of the rain. That Caddy looks almost like the one we had at our show yesterday, but the one here was a 4 door ht.

I bet blowing that tire at 80 mph had a big pucker factor! Been there, done that, don't want to do it again! :D

Thanks!!

I appreciate your sharing the pics. Some really nice stuff, and a couple I wouldn't want to drive on the roads around here. ;) I'm really glad car show season is upon us, finally, and hope we can get a good showing at our show in July. Thanks again....now, I need to go shovel snow. :)

as i was looking i found myself thinking. you caught the entire spectrum of home built rods
from
YIKES i hope that thing wasnt driven here!
to
YIKES i want that one![dr
thanks for the tour.

That A with the independent front end is a sure sign that some people need more guidance then they think. That front end with no clearance is just plain scary and a great way to answer the question of "Why should I Z my frame?".

There was some pretty cool stuff there by the looks of it! Thanks for sharing!
