can you use a model T rear spring on a 41 ford rearend without modification?

Don't know, but I have a T spring at the shop. If you would like me to measure it I will.

that would be great. I've seen t springs used before but i can't seem to remember if any work was involved

I think the 41 used a 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" wide spring while the model T is a 2".

They are different widths.
