My Dad is looking at an old Model T to build a Rat Rod. Not sure the year. I don't know anything about this vintage of vehicle.

Can you tell me what wheels will fit on the the front axle that is laying behind the car on the ground? Besides the one on it already, looking for steel wheels. Can't see the axle, but there might be someone with the expertise to tell me. Also, what would you need to do to for brakes?

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I should have clarified. He is looking at a small four cylinder for this project. Toyota or similar size.

I suspect though that the same advice may still apply.

Thanks for the input. I did some searching on line and it is not a bundle on cash for a new axle assembly. I will steer him in that direction.;)
