So I have a 7 year old nephew who I want to get into bikes, but my sister is super safety concious. No bikes for him. So Ive been thinking about finding an old rear engine mower. chop it in half, and then weld a girls bike front end on it. find some motorcycle parts for throttle control, and let him ride it around the yerd when he's over. So guys, poke holes in my theory?

I built the same thing for my oldest boy about 8 years ago. He rode it about twice. Then, it had a small 50 cc 3 stroke. My second boy came along and The 2 stroke took a dump. I put a 5hp 4 stroke on it and he rode it about three times. It ain't been started in over a year. If I can find some pics, I'll post em up. If i can't find any, I'll try to take another and post.

I was gonna post up a pic of mine but the above ones are purdier. Poo, I though I was the only one.

O well, at least no one else has any pics of their propane powered motorcycle, (yet).

Hey dont give me credit I just found the pics didnt build it, so if you have one feel free to post it up.

Got mine out today and it fired right up! Back when I built this thing about 9 or 10 years ago, Thomas the tank engine was my little ones favorite character. Therefore the blue and yellow paint scheme with number 1 on it.
