thinking about in my next project using 2 mazda 1.3 L rotary engines, an using a transfer case in between, so i could use one or both engines when i wanted to, still have a lot to plan out, but i think it could end up really kool

After looking around for a while I think I found an engine set I wanna try, 4.5 l infiniti v8s puuting down a combined 600 hp, then looking into applying 8-15 psi of boost to shoot for round 1000 hp. But the 600 will cause enough fun problems for now, I still need to think about how I'm gonna fit them in my engine bay
If anyone has any tips or knows someone who made a dual engine set up any info would be great.

Tractor pullers have been doing it for a number of years. A couple that come to mind were Double Trouble and the other was The Odd Couple. O/C was a 318 and a 360. One of them used a chain coupling for the hookup between the engines.
