Posted these pics in introduce myself, probably by mistake, but...

383 powered, 727 auto, kind of a semi eliptical rear spring setup. Built a custom panhard bar, I have Delco Remy Lovejoy shocks for the rear, the original grill. One of the ictures shows the grill leaned back and one straight up, I am going with the leaned back one. Of course that means different radiator and probably electric fans (yuck), but I have not given up yet. Top radiator hose clearance issue is the reason the stock fan will not work. Still out on ignition, I have a Vertex magneto I could have converted to Chrysler base.....Torker intake, going to build some custom exhausts using aircraft exhaust flanges with sliding joints in them....we will see...

my overkill Panhard bar

Had a big bolt laying around for years, turns out a buddy had a big nut hanging around for years, (no, we are, not...)took the bolt and shortened it in the saw, welded it to the rear end housing, took the nut, a 7/8 bolt and a 8000.00 unusable helicopter rod end bearing, some 1 1/2 square tubing and made a panhard bar. I didn't want it to break....
Also since the head of the bolt of course did not match the curvature of the rear housing, what better way to fill the gap than to weld in some grade 8 bolts!!

Also let me add that I traded for this project, cab was chopped, frame was roughed in, so a lot of the frame welds you see are NOT mine. I am redoing them as I go, just wanted that out there for the record...

my least favorite position is laying under a dash, so on this car I'm putting all the electrics in the door on the cowl, just flip it open and right there everything is in reach.... I found the door on old Air Force aircraft power unit, perfect color to match is the truck haha....
