My dad & his twin lied about their age & joined the Navy at 16 during WWII! He wanted to be buried with all the other Veterans so I buried him at the Veterans Cemetery in Houston! He never talked about the war other than to say he hated the food! [ddd

Same with my dad and his 2 brothers but dad waited until he turned 18.

Pop the Marine. He went in at 16 to fight in WW2 and later served again training troops to go to Korea.
