gold leafing.....

I thought it went okay, although I've heard that varigated leaf is easier than pure gold, not to mention, there's no engine turning involved here...

The secret is patience, wait for the size ( the glue for the leaf ) to dry the correct amount. I'm sure I wasted more leaf than a pro, but you gotta learn somehow.

Not too big, probably about 9 by 12 inches.

I've been striping off and on for a few years now, this is just the first time I've tried to use any gold leaf.
