A friend of mine asked me to build something for a prize at his wedding social this past Saturday. He was thinking about a fire pit or something of the like. I thought that was boring so I came up with a better idea...

A 50000 BTU propane beer keg barbeque!

It cost me $480 and one long week to build it. I almost cried when a stranger won it. Oh well I guess I can always build another one for myself.

Thanks guys! It was a fun but intense project. I'm sure more than a few of you know how hard it is to drill stainless steel. I need a new set of drill bits now.

No the keg was empty. And it's a good thing because if I had to drain that thing myself I would have never finished the grill on time. Hell, I probably would have missed the party, and that's not a good thing for a groomsman to do.

Hmmmm... Sounds like a good reason to buy a plasma cutter.

Shipping them would be a deal breaker I'm sure, not to mention certifying them.
