My son got his first hot rod this weekend

Every boy needs a project! Unfortunatly i was much older than 5 months when i got mine...

AMF Fire Fighter #505. Swap meet special $30. Found a full set of NOS red wheel covers for $15. And a fire bell for $3.

Who dosnt love a tail dragger?

Its gonna be a trailer queen/ fairground cruiser. Were gonna hot rod it out. Shiny white wheels w/red centercaps. Were gonna leave the patina but possibly add some scallops....maybe some pinstriping. The seat,floor, and sides are going to be tuck and roll (possibly roll and pleat) The steering wheel is missing so were gonna make our own. Possible one made out of chain.(not sure, im concerned about fingers getting caught)

The car is going to be converted into a radio flyer type wagon untill Mr.Man is big enough to pedal.

were thinkin zoomies. I'll see if i can scrounge up a blower for it. Im pretty sure Edlebrock and Wiend have all the aftermarket parts for the AMF 2 cylinder
