Here is the latest item that I am working on here at my day job. H1 hummer, 73K miles, doing 8 glow plugs. 4 hours down and 7 are changed. Now onto the rear drivers side one that snapped off in the head[S[S[S fun to drive but a pain to work on sometimes![;)

Ive driven a couple of those beasts. I didnt even like driving them. Too big for and hard to see out of. Wouldnt want to work on one thats for sure.
 
and this weekends work. Putting a roll bar into a supercharged C5 vette convertible.

well I got the roll cage in. It is a tight fit but I got it to clear all of the rear hatch, roof (up or down), seats, and the water fall. Had to go for a test drive. rubber fest till 60mph!

Since I'm in the middle of bending pipe, I can appreciate your work on the Vette. Always fun to "light 'em up" at highway speeds.:D
 
I Have a friend that had to pay $2K for spark plugs in a Ford PU. They broke off 4 plugs in the head and eventually took of both heads to fix it!!


The inital cost was $400 for the plugs and instalation.. I'm livin in the past!!

I am the go to guy at our GM shop for all things ford. To pull the heads we just start by lifting the cab up off the frame. Then you can just sit on the tires and work away instead of being jammed up under the cowl.

My wifes Toyota van is the same. $400 tune up. They have to pull the intake to get to the plugs. Smart design:rolleyes:
 
Well, here is todays work. installing a dual disc clutch in the 08 Z06 that I supercharged. only a meer $2500 parts and labor....
