This is WAYYYY off topic of cars but seeing as how we have so many people on here from Texas, I figured y'all could help me out!

My son just moved to Ft. Bliss (El Paso) with his Dad, I am in Montgomery, Al. (as everyone knows)....I need to know about the half way point from here to there so we can meet up. I have tried to mapquest it and other things and I am just getting frustrated! Can anyone help me find the half way point?

Thanks a million! :D

Probably right around Dallas If my calculations are correct. About 650 either way, maybe Terrell or Forney to really nail it down.
I have one of those situations and half way is always closer to their house.lol

If you are going through Terrell and like Mexican food, my favorite taqueria is there.

LOOOOOOOOOONG way!

Ms. Reason,
It's LOOOOOONG way... believe me! From H-town to El Paso you fill up with gas 3 times (takes a *whole* day even with the way I drive) & you fill up 3 times from El Paso to Los Angeles!

Yep... Dallas is about half way! Also, try Google Maps instead!

Aarrrgggghhhh!

It's really frustrating! Only because I don't want either party to have to drive further than the other. I have family that lives in Dallas and can get there from here in 10 hours. Seems like that may be the meeting place.

I am trying to find a web site or program that can help me out more, I know that I am not the only person that meets the Ex half way and wanting to know where that is, down to the mile....LOL

I knew if I asked on here someone would be able to help me out....Thanks Guys! :) If anyone has any other suggestions or information that would help us out....hollar at me! :D

Been doin' the kid swap thing for too many years...LOL We ( ex & I ) decided that instead of both of us spending time traveling twice each visitation time ,that we would split it. I would travel the full distance to drop them off,, and she would travel the full distance to pick them back up. makes it easier on everybody, it gives either party a break from the time it takes to do the exchange every time.

Ah-ha.....found the half-way point! Mesquite, Tx.
LaQuinta Hotels are good with their handicap accessibility for my son and the one in Mesquite is right off of I-20. Whew....now on to when is a good time for everyone......gggrrrr
