Need Help deciding what direction

Need help deciding what direction to take my build. I'm happy with both just cant force myself one way or the other. What would you do? Leaning more toward using the hood and original grill.

Hood and original grill. Tall skinny tires up front at least. Get a second hood and use it as a belly pan. Maybe lean the A-posts back when you chop.

of the 2 pics I like the original hood. the grille shell on the orange one doesn't fit the truck.

I'm building a 48 F1. My build thread it F1 Ratty. Im Getting ready to build my frame and just want to know what I'm going for before I start cutting and welding.

Unless I'm missing something ,everything would be the same until you got to the hood and grill . Try it with out the hood and if you don't like it put a hood on , hoods and grills are just cosmetic , not structural .

With the wide cabs I think it looks much better with the original style grill and hood, cut down a bit to size.

Not sure what the weather is where you are...but...hoods make them more driveable...if you wanna show car then oh course you wont need a hood...where I live (upstate NY)...it rains a lot...so to me hoods are a necesscity when building a car...

Grille looks too small on the orange truck. Both trucks need longer beds in my opinion. They are out of proportion.

I love that orange truck I even had a inline 6 in mine just was too spendy to make it look nice and wanted v8. But love the overall look. Just seen more pictures of them with hoods an they starting to grow on me specially since i have both in decent shape.
