The excavator I just bought has the wrong turbo on it. It's way to big and don't spool up. The best I've been able to get out of it is 3lbs of boost. So I've been trying to find the correct turbo. It's a hino HO7C-TD engine. I can not find a correct part number for the turbo anywhere. Can anybody help me out?

At this point I don't care what turbo I get as long as its the right size for the motor. The engine is 411 CID. Anybody know how to figure what size turbo I need?

Thanks

Alibaba is a equivalent to eBay or something in Japan. It's a joke to try to use, I tried.

National truck spares claims they can't help with heavy equipment stuff... Even tho they both have the same Hino engine.

I did finally get a lead on a used one thru a shop in Indianapolis. Hopefully it works out.

I've never used either place but I thought it might help. sometimes I've used sites like allibaba and others to find an oem number or part number and then I can search for that part elsewhere. I usually try to get the part number from two different places so that it may be close to right. the thing with turbos is for there may be more than one for the same size engine depending on hp out put. good luck

Thanks Kenny.
I did get a part number threw a Hino truck dealer. They wanted $2600 for it. I used that part number to find a equivalent turbo on eBay. It's $800 but comes from Japan with a ten day delivery time.

If the shop in Indy don't come thru with a used one then I'm gonna buy the Japanese one :-/
