new from Ky..

Hey guys.... I'm Barber from Caintuckee.... I don't have a rat rod, but after sitting in my buddies at a cruise in last Saturday night I'm thinking I want one now... Found a 32 chevy a couple days ago that I might go pick up if I can sell a set of axles I have.... if not I reckon I'll have to wait until I go back to work (laid off close to 5 months now ) before I can find something else to build, as I'm sure the 32 will be long gone by then.... but I can definitely see myself building one sooner or later....

Anyway just thought I'd say hey, and I'll be lurking on here from now on...

Yeah, I'd like to get back to work soon.... but work just went away over night it seems.. Oh well, something will break sooner or later...

The axles are 2.5 ton Rockwells... I was gearing up to build a 72 bronco rockcrawler when I was laid off...

No, it's an old wrecker... pretty neat old truck actually.... After doing some thinking, I believe I might be better off passing on it for now, and after I get back to work worry about building a rod...

Here I'll see if I can't post a picture of it... and seeing how I'm going to pass on it, if someone wants it, PM me and I'll pass on the information to you...

The guy has it listed for $800... Which I don't think is that bad of a price, but I just don't have the money to throw at it once it's here...

The wrecker looks pretty good. Not a bad price, it would be a shame to let it go. but, there is still alot of tin out there.
