New guy for Northern CA. With 55 Ford

Hey guys, I signed up here quite a while back but have yet to even post so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Mike and I and from just East of Sacramento. I am a member over at a couple other fourms and thought I would start up over here.
About 9 months ago I picked up a 55 Ford Customline. It ran pretty rough when I bough it but now she is a pretty solid runner. It has the original 272 Y-block, I just finished all the body work, shaved trim, door handles, and deck lid. I painted it 2 weeks ago and have just been enjoying driving around latley with the nice weather we have been having. Hope to learn from some of you guys and contribute when I can...on with the pics...

ANd the way it sits now with some color. I need to get some pics of it out of the garage now that i have put all the chrome back on.

Thats it for now. Next up is some interior work. I plan on painting the dash and the inside pillars the same color as the roof but in a gloss. Then it's on to some new padding and seat covers for the seats. I could use so cheap advice on this if any of you guys have any info on cheap interior soltions. Thanks for looking!

Welcome to RRR. Nice lookin' Customline! Didn't look to be to bad off when ya got it. What color is that? Looks almost Army green...

Don't know if you have run across this forum: http://www.y-blocksforever.com/forums/, but they can tell you ANYTHING you need about that old Y-Block. And like RRR, very helpful and friendly group.

You going to be making the trip up to Sacramento for Midnight Mass at Cal Expo on July 25th. Poorboy Jay and the Poorboy's really have put on a great show in the past.
