I have been looking for a project off and on for 10 years. I have had a rockcrawler, dragcar, too many trucks to count, raced go karts and now I found myself without a hobby or project. I have been checking out rat rods for awhile and I have a strange attraction to them. Then I realized that every project I have ever worked on was done with free, cheap or homemade parts. I believe this is what the true meaning of a rat is right? So, I decided to find an old car with the idea of getting it on the road and driving it, regardless of looks. The other day I found it. Well, a coworker found it, I bought it and dug it out of the earth that it had sunken into over the last 16 years. So, hopefully a 1959 Chevy Bel Air four door will fit the rat. It is a tank, and somewhat evil looking. It may take me awhile to wake it from its sleep, but the first goal is getting it on the road.
