I joined up a few days ago, Interested in the thrill of chopping some old metal hoods and fenders as soon as possible.
I have been working on a 71 CB350F chopp/bobb/ whatever you want to label it, My first real build ever on a motorcycle. Started out like a lotta kids out in the back yard with DAD, busting knuckles, swapping a 390 in a old Buick. Moved on to a 56 Ford truck, then VW bugs, wagons, dechromed, lowered, monotone paint, black rubber, no CHROME.
I have been doing welding and fabrication and design, at work for several years and have built quite a equipped home shop. Hoping to absorb some drive from you guys to force me to get started on something with 4 wheels and finish something on 2 wheels. Wish me luck and prod me a little.Maybe something will happen. as soon as I learn to post pics I'll get some up. Thanks Chris Cooper

Chris...you're very fortunate to have a shop full of tools and the skills to design and fabricate. Many people have no experience, can only hope to develope skills to build a bike or car of thier dreams out in the driveway. I hope that looking at what others have done will be inspiration for you. Then you can display what you have done to inspire others. There is so much satisfaction in building a ride and then actually driving it that it is hard to explain but then you become a part of special community, actually subculture of gearheads. Go for it, time doesn't wait.:)
