Hello All,
Just got the bug and can't stand it no mo'. Tired o' seein' only rich guys have cool cars. Made up my mind to build one myself.

Really jonesin on an early F100 of the three tooth variety. Seriously considering perching said truck atop a 5.0 AWD Explorer just to be different. Understand and accept the challenges. Any words of wisdom at the start?

around here the odd 4 x 4 builds are;

a 1964 2 door rambler on a CJ 5 jeep frame.

a 1964 Impala station wagon.

a 1959 El Camino.

a 1966 El Camino.

a mid 60's 2 door caddy on a 3/4 ton 1985 dodge truck chassis.

a 1986 camaro.

Hi and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta. Ever since my wife had an '05 Explorer I've had that same dream as you have. I've never said my dream out loud, though, consequently I don't have that dream hotrod, but I do have the same wife.
