New Job Lead

Have a lead on a really good job & an inside guy to help me get it, found my wallet with my DL in it so I can go apply tomorrow. The company makes medical equipment (mostly stainless) has all product manufacturing operations in house except monitor screens and casters. They have 2 CNC laser cutters, all metal forming & machining, Powder coating, plastic injection molding and computer circuitry in house.
It will be the first time I have filled out a job app. in about 20 years, wish me luck I really need it.

Met with the HR guy, toured the plant had an unofficial interview, sent to a temp agency that they use filled out an app. but the guy there wasn't too impressed with the fact I have no real work experience for the last 20 years.
I know for a fact he has not contacted any references I supplied that I have done work with or for.

No position open til January so I'll keep on the HR guy with emails and through my friend.
