New job & Raise Today

Just started a new job (3 weeks now) in a CNC Machine shop across the street from my shop. Picked up my check this morning and was given a duece fiddy raise[cl Sweeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Were working 12 hours a day 6 days a week, I'm on third. Love the job

When I got out of college, I interviewed at a company called Elysion Publications. When I walked into the Art Directors office, he was a bearded dude wearing sandals and a Mexican Poncho. I thought, "What am I getting into?". He took me through a room that contained studio lights and a king size bed. The production room, he gave a photo of a nude model and told me to cut a mask. After the test, he told me they would contact me as there were other applicants.

Turns out they did skin magazines. I thought about it and called them to tell them to take me off the list. They said it was a choice between me and another guy. I told them to hire the other guy. They offered me more money. I said no. They offered me a raise in 6 months, I said no. Instead, I went to work at a printing plate company. I was 22 years old. Upon reflection, I think there was something wrong with me..........
