Hey fellas!
Thanks for the 'open to all' mentality-it's refreshing, to say the least! My name is Walt Urban. My wife, Zaida and I live in Haiku, on Maui. I'm a county worker and my wife works with Autistic elementary school kids. I don't currently have the money or shop to build a 1:1 rod but have been building models for 30+ years and have always had a soft spot for the vintage, or 'junkyard dog' rods, from mags like those of the 50's(today they call them rat rods). I work quite a bit and have a busy life like everybody but like to go out to the garage and sit at my hobby desk a couple hours a week. If allowed, I'd like to 'lurk around' and get ideas from you guys. I don't have anything to post but my models and have precious few of those built but would like to check out your rides and ask questions from time to time.
Well, that's about it. Thanks again for making your forum open to all. Be 'pestering' you all before too long! Thanks, Walt.
