I was informed about this site when I made the mistake of trying to be a new guy on the H.A.M.B.
Wow! What a bunch of stuffed shirts! I was not well received as most of you guys probably already know.
RRR is where I should be. I used to build and play with the high dollar shiney cars, but after doing a few rats in the past years, I'm hooked.
My latest creation is my 1927 Graham Brothers Rat Hearse.
It was all original when I bought it. 4 cylinder, 3 speed, manual brakes, and a top speed of a whopping 30MPH!
Of coarse I couldn't leave well enough alone and now it has a 350 with a 350TH trans, 6" drop straight front axle, power disc brakes and Ford rear end. Much cooler and a lot more fun to drive. I enclosed a few pictures.
Glad to be part of RRR!
(P.S. the hearse is for sale if anyone is interested)

Welcome to RRR. Yeah I was asked to leave the HAM-Board as well. Some of the guys on there are ok, but most of them can be a bit over the top with their sandbox rules. Their loss, your gain!

Really dig the Hearse! When I die I'd want to take my final crusie in that thing!

Welcome aboard! Got any new Rat projects going on?

Yeah, I've got a chopped top 41 Ford rat pickup I'm going to start on after the '27 Hearse is gone. I've enclosed a picture of the one I had a few years ago. Its going to be about the same except with a '39 front clip instead of the '38 like the one in the picture.
I bought a nice S10 frame with air bags on all four corners. It will lay the frame on the ground. The '41 should fit it pretty good. I have all of the parts to build it except the bed.

Welcome to RRR! I've seen pics of that '41 before - really liked how the chop was done. In fact, I think Bonehead has a picture of that truck for ideas in his latest build thread. The GB is cool too, not sure I could daily drive it though. No offense, but I don't like you're choice of rims and tires - but, it ain't mine and to each his own. Hope to see a build thread soon on your next '41!

The wheels and tires aren't my favorites either, but you use what you got until you get something else.

Welcome to the Triple R
You are aware that no one is in a hurry to get to the grave  hence the 30 miles an hour :D

Welcome to the RRR site ! Where are you at in NC? I'm over west of Winston-Salem.

I live in Madison. Northeast of Winston. Come on over to the cruise-in in King Saturday evening (just above Winston). I think I'll go. Nothing else going on. You can't miss me. I'll have the only GB Hearse there!
