I am working on a 52 chevy truck now .So far I have rebuilt the whole suspension . I used the mono leaf spring kit from Brothers. they lowered it about 3 1/2 to 4 inches . Now I am working on the floor pans , they are in bad shape. When I get through with that I am going to rewire it, Then if I am lucky maybe I will get to drive it !!!! I have owned it for 2 years now and haven't drove it no where but in the Yard!! Well here are a couple of before pics .

Good thing you have a big yard, at least you know it has 2nd gear. Looks like a great project and you apparently have some fine helpers there too.

Can't beat those AD pickups. I'm in the perpetual build of a '47. Some thongs in this thread may be helpful, http://www.ratrodsrule.com/forum/showthread.php?t=247 .

For the floor work if you plan on using new pieces check out AntiqueAuto Parts in Hartford, KY. Here's their wesite, http://www.aapsales.com/ .
When you get to the wiring, check out EZ Wiring. I found their harness fairly simple to install.
