Is anyone using newer trucks / cars to build fenderless "hot rods " ?

I'm anxious to build but can't seem to find the affordable 1940 to 1954 car / truck . I just can't constitute $3,000 plus for somthing to cut up .

Would like some alternative ideas .

Where do you live at? Someone on here might have something just ripe for your picking. I only gave like $200 for my 48 Ford truck. There ARE deals to be had out there.

Wellsville , Ohio in eastern Ohio.

We need titles here . I have found some withou titles but the state has clamed on self assembled titles so tight it's not worth the hastle.

check craiglist. akron had a 50,s? chevy for 2000. i think it was a 4 door
