Hey all, I'm Jeff a retired auto mechanic.

I had an somewhat original idea 10 years ago, and I'm still a few years financially from making it happen.... so I'm here to learn as much as I can before I start.

I have a 67 Kaiser Jeepster Commando I want to build T-Bucket style. Like I said it may have been somewhat original... 10 years ago !

So yea anyways I have a basic grasp of welding and fabrication. I worked a year of my career bending and welding custom exhaust, spent another year working as a body shop apprentice, pretty good at electrical but have never done what I'm fixing to do so will need lots of help and will ask lots of questions if ya'll don't mind !

Hey thanks for all the welcomes

Got a picture of the Jeep for ya'll.

Plans are like I said "T-bucket" style... in other words suicide I beam out front, hairpins, beefy four link in the back to hook up properly. Box and pinch the rails, lay the windshield back, it will be a roadster but may want to refit the removable hard top.

It will be powered by an AMC 401 I have laying around, I have to convert a 4wd Turbo 400 to chevy tail shaft ( AMC uses uni-bell bolt pattern ) and I still need to score an AMC 20 one piece rear end to round out the package - keeping it all AMC for drive train and also the 20 is really under rated.

AND I might fit in a well but that's no place I'd like to be - hehe  :)
