We just bumped up our Comcast cable and picked up a bunch of new channels. One of them is Velocity and one show in particular I have started liking a lot is "Chasing Classic Cars." It is a no BS, no drama, no silly Chumlee games type show and the guy who is featured on the show makes it a pleasure to watch.

I sure hope the Hollywood guys don't screw this one up by tossing in fake skits and pranks to "liven things up".

If that's the show I'm thinking of, I have seen it before. I think it was on A&E. I wondered what happened to that show, I really liked it too.

The cars that they go after might not be exactly what we "regular folks" play around with, but there are still some pretty neat ones on that show. I like seeing the ones that have been stored in barns and garages for 20-30 years and then they finally get to see the light of day again.

Wayne doesn't do any of the usual "Hollywood" drama or dumb stuff, like so many of the other shows. I can't even watch a lot of those any more. I thought the one where the guy was selling his red Ferrari and he took it for one last ride with his Son was pretty cool. He was emotional and it is nice to see that guys even at that money level get attached to the cars they love.

I've watched this program for a few years now and have actually met Wayne Carini a couple of times and have to say he's as down to earth and just a 'normal' car guy who loves what he does.

He does seem to be a really nice guy. I liked the fact that he wouldn't bid on that one car he wanted because a friend was also bidding and he didn't want to step on his toes. That says a lot about him.

Yeah I've been watching that show for a few years too. He gets really cool stuff.

He fits in some cool old cars I couldnt hope to squeeze myself into!

I want a Roger in my garage (he's the old mechanic that knows everything)
