Well we have a new customer project lurking around the compound. Ol' rusty, shes a 1965 Ford f100. She get her name not only for her rusty red color, but the flintstone floor boards and Swiss cheese bed floor. No rust in any other bed panels, but the 2 spots it is it went all out! Hahaha. It has a 360 fe block, that will be staying along for the ride, the 4 speed will be changed out for a 5 speed. Frame draggin air ride , raised bed floor, new floors, 20x8 and 20x11 Detroit steel wheels. Along with some other minter fab flair.

So let's start this sucka!

Got parts ordered today. Mustang 2 front suspension with air bags, rear four link and air bags and the Detroit steel wheels.

Now I need to start getting it tore down!

Parts have started rolling in for the truck. Rear suspension, air bags, parts of the front suspension and some big steel wheels!

Eh... I've seen worse. I don't think I've seen them rust out by the back passenger side seat like that before - unless everything else was far gone.

That's not rusty. There aren't any left in my neck of the woods.

Yeah, it's not horrible. Everyone seems to tell The owner is a rusty orange color. Not red, like it should be. So that's kind of where the name came from. Also doesn't help, you can see the road when you drive it. Nothing a new set of floor boards. Can't fix.


As for the helpers com they are more for the entertainment factor[P

Made some progress on rusty today. Beds off, front clip is loose and ready to be pulled off. So far everything looks pretty rust free except for the cap floor.

nope, I just looked too quickly, your pictures are a good size!

Pulled the cab off and gave the motor a bath in dollar store over cleaner ( best degreaser over!!!)
