hi everybody
Just wanted to say hi. i found this site and i think it is great. I am currently working on one very ratty 1960 willys jeep truck. It even has that "old" smell. I live in the great northeast (NY state) so rust is a very close friend to me. I am really looking forward to getting something other than the Willys Jeep to build. The Willys is going to be my old car parts getter. I think for now with no budget to speak of the jeep will be pretty much stock but a functioning truck.
I am hoping to find an old truck cab or a sedan type vehicle to build. If it is a sedan it'll probably end looking like and old modified stock car from the 1960's and if it is a truck...it'll look like 1960's vintage hot rod.
Has anybody built an old stock car for the street??..i think that would be so cool...
You guys seem to be able to make stuff out of nothing, and I love these rides....
Right now i gotta figure out how to get the pics i have taken onto this site.
