You guys know I am a sucker for old tin, but there is one in the paper that is hard to beat. 1930 Ford 5 window, in a barn since 1963, original title, $6000.00. Picture shows no tires on rims, and pretty rusty, but straight. Seems like big money, but they don't come up too often. What do you guys think?

Seems high. My '30 tudor was somewhat drivable with hydraulic conversion already done. Average body condition. $3000.Retitling in Az was'nt expensive.

Around here, that's a hard car to find and if the body was in decent shape, I'd be real tempted to buy it if I could talk the price down a little bit. How complete is the car?

Earthdude,
Love to pick one up for that myself!

GAstrick,
Around these parts they're like hen's teeth. Our weather is not good to old tin sittin' outside. Want one here... you gots ta pay up. I'd try to get the price down too & that'd be a nice catch IMO!

Just a small picture, but it looks complete, glass in the windows, I think all the drive train is there too. I think I am going to pass on it, but I'll give out the info to whoever wants.

My father in-law paid $6000 for his 29 model a. It basically had no rust (all Ford black paint), the original motor still ran. Wheel/ tires everything was nice. The roof was gone and had no seats. It is a lot of money, but these are getting hard to find... especially if it's in good shape. If you got it I say go for it.

Well, I came to my senses. Bought this today, and for the money, I could have 60 of these, or one of those 5 windows. Now I can buy 59 more, as I find them.

Your well on your way to having more projects than your great-grandkids can build. :D:D
Nice find !

Nice find Bonehead! That's a great looking cab. I think you made the right decision too. Your storage space has to be close to being full. The best thing would be to pull that one in the shop and get to work on it!
