OMG... *finally* got hot water!!!

Mrs Tripper & I have been converting an old washeteria into our residence & have been fighting the stupid morons at the city *every* single step of the way! Something that should've taken 3-4 months is gonna take nearly a year after I finally get the garage in. We got the A/C running a couple weeks ago & started living here with me crackin' the whip on all contractors & today was a red letter day! We finally got our gas hooked up... so... no more cold showers! Also got our internet hooked up today & can quit scabbing off my unawares neighbor whom I wholeheartedly thank! Yipppeee!!!

I know the feeling, I'm back to cold showers in my bus cause I sold my diesel fired boiler last week.

We have a water heater and shower in the shop but never need to turn it on these days. The cold water even comes out hot ! I bet with some of the temps we have been seeing you Tx guys having you are in the same situation.

What a joy finally have hot water. I remember years ago while living in an apartment the boiler system was down for two weeks! Fastest showers I ever took!

Absolutely. I washed my hands in the cold water in the shop last month and I swear it was hot enough to make coffee. Longest & hottest & driest summer ever in the history of the state!

Yeah... our cold water was comin' out pretty warm too until it started gettin' in the low 60's at nite... then that all changed! Plus it was nice to be able to use the stove to cook dinner. Anyway... here's where we are now... still gotta finish the front yard etc! Here's the front, kitchen & master bath. Shower has 3 shower heads... rain, regular & another with a handheld. Still gotta put some kool tile around the tub, stain the concrete floors, get the door knobs etc & dig this exit sign the Mrs bought me. Here's a B4 foto! Hope to be finished in 2-3 weeks... fingers crossed!!!
