Probably 45 years ago I stumbled on one of these AirFlows in the woods in Pennsylvania. It was down over an embankment and was sort of rough, but savable. All I was interested in was the Ford sitting by it, and thought it was an odd looking car. Wish I had dragged it out along with the 39 Ford I did rescue.

My Dad said the styling was so advanced at the time people had a hard time accepting it but I fell in love the 1st time I saw one. I was a teen & have wanted one every since.

Don't know if you guys remember this car, 1936 Chrysler, but it was the 1st custom hot rod that sold for over $500K ($550K @ Barrett Jackson). One of only four 2-doors known to exist & powered by a Viper V10.

Bob, The place that is selling the Airflow in your original post is in my neighborhood. In fact, I just looked at that very same car earlier this week.
