opinion on tires

I found a guy local to me selling these tires and I am thinking they would be nice for the rear of my project. has anyone ever used the carlisle tires? They are 4 ply so I don't think they would be to stiff for the rear of a light weight bobbed truck.

he also has these but I'm kinda wanting a radial and I'm torn on blackwall or white wall. being 15's verses 16's would make the wheel search much easier though. Universals site says they are tubeless bias ply, I thought all bias plys needed tubes?
