l am thinking swapping the dodge chassis and chevy chassis, both projects have after market square tube style chassis, rack & pinion, Mll IFS, 4 link rear suspension, coil over shocks and the wheel base is only a foot difference. since am not running a hood or fenders, the slight bit the wheelbase moves can be adjusted easily.

l been trying to sell the 35 chevy for a long time and getting a bunch of lookie-loes and low ball offers and to tell the truth. l am tired of it:(

l have the 30ish dodge sedan and it needs parts l don't have or the cash to get right now.

l have almost all the parts for the 35 chevy and l seriously considering a chassis swap to speed up getting the chevy done instead of waiting for the money to get the dodge parts. at least that way l would be driving one of the two by spring/summer.

then either drive the chevy a bunch and sell something else to get some operating cash to finish a few other projects or just sell the chevy when running for a lotta cash and do the other projects.

with the chassis swap it's less cash to get the chevy going but putting the 30ish dodge sedan on hold till who-knows-when.

just a sounding board, but a lot of smart people here and sometime a "fresh" set of eyes may see something l am missing. thanks for letting me bend your ear.

Sounds like you are spread too thin. Been there, too many projects and nothing getting done. That Chevy is nice. I'd stay the course and finish it because you know you're going to take a whuppin to sell it like it is. The Dodge don't turn my crank near as much as the Chevy, push it out back and quit wasting time and money on it until the chevy is done, no matter if it takes a year longer than you thought. Focus grasshopper, focus.

I'd put everything on hold and finish the coupe...........I love that car man! [dr

If it was driving it would be sold before you know it........or maybe you wouldn't want to sell it then[S It's a win either way. :D

Coupe

Finish the coupe [P
I'm glad you posted this, I'm in the same boat and you cleared my head on what I need to do too

I'd have to agree with the others. Focus on one project and you will make good progress and be happier with it.

My problem is the opposite. When I start a project, I barely do anything else but sleep in my spare time. Next thing I know...poof!! it's done and I'm bored again.

thanks

thanks guys,

just start and do as much as l can on the chevy is what the conses seems to be, that is a good idea, l will get on that and try and stay on it:D,

Later
