Asked this in my build thread and thought I should ask it here.

Does it make any difference which frame rail you mount your panhard bar to?
From the searches I've done it appears most folks mount it to the drivers side.
Is there a reason for this?

I may be trying to over think this, I usually do.

Thanks,

Mo matter how you look at it, there is less lateral movement of the axle centerline with the longest bar you can fit at as close to level to the ground as you can at ride height/compressed height. The stock mustang setup mounts the axle mount on the drivers side almost at the end of the axle, and the other end is on the other side of the body. It will run slightly upwards at ride height so as to have the least change laterally when compressing the suspension through the point where the bar goes level with the axle, and beyond.

Thanks DR,
That makes perfect since.
Sometimes I tend to over think things, and confuse my feeble little brain.
Just need to get it done so we can be at the roller state.

I need to chain the rear diff and front axle so I can raise it on the lift.
Or weld temporary brackets would be better.

I tried crawling around on the new knee... Not a good idea.

Thanks again,

Ratchet straps helped me get mine to ride height when I had the springs in, if you don't have the springs in, you can use a block of wood, 4x4 or what not, and ratchet down the frame to the axle that way.
Good luck on the panhard bar, and hope your knee heals up soon!

No springs- going with air bags. The ratchet straps are a good idea.
Need to pick up some Dom tubing to finish my 4- links.
And get rid of my electrical conduit, you liked so well, that I used for
Mock up.
Thanks for the well wishes.
