Don't know if you've seen the recent TV commercials with Pauly Jr showing off his Geico theme bike, OMG that thing is gawd awful! Always thought Jr was the driving design force in OCC but all that fame definitely went to all their heads & most people saw the big meltdown coming a mile away! I wish those guys well but their 15 minutes of fame is long past!

I had trouble reading the tank as saying "Honor". Wow, maybe I need glasses.

Their bikes have always been ugly, but 10 years ago they were in style. Now, they're not. There are too many bolt on parts and while sometimes creativity is good, as some of us rat rodders know you need to let the project tell you what it wants to be. I have a hard time believing any of these "Theme bikes" they build actually get sold.

my beef with those guys is
none of them actually MAKE anything!
hire joblo to build the frame
hire to make the fenders and tank
hire to paint
all they do is bolt things together.
hell
I CAN DO THAT
and i am a nincompoop!
sheesh!

jesse james may be a jerk
but the man is a fantastic fabricator
so while i dont like him
i know skill when i see it
those OCC guys just throw fits and scream at each other.

The guy who owned the deli next to my shop was personal friends with Billy Lane, they were roommates in college. Billy had a few too many drinks and killed a guy by wrecking into him with his pickup. He got something like 6 years, I think, and is either out now or about to come out.

From what the guy next door told me, Billy is nothing like his bad boy image, he just screwed up having one too many and it didn't end well.

As for the bikes built by the Tuttels, some of those things were downright hideous. I agree with Billy, JJ is an arrogant spoiled brat, but he is a true fabricator.

OCC built a few nice bikes in the beginning, but as time went on they became "same ol" If you've ever ridden a bike with a stretched frame and extended forks you'd have a whole new vision of how awful they really are! rough riding, bounce you all over and good only in a straight line. Of course this is my opinion only!:D

I agree... I'd rather learn a real skill from an ******* than to learn how to bolt on someone elses parts from a know-nothing..

A buddy of mine when I was growing up rode with the Pagans and he had a hardtail chopper with a tank shift. The fork was extended way out and I rode it one time. It took a city block to turn it around and my butt was sore after just a short ride. But it sure was cool looking ! :D

He was a wild man. One time his wife sent him out for a loaf of bread for dinner and he took his chopper. On the way some of his biker buddies passed by and they were headed to Connecticut to party (we lived in Pennsylvania ) He decided to go with them and just left. His wife didn't know if he was alive or dead, he didn't even let her know where he was , and he was gone for a week !

When my wife heard that story from his wife she said to me " Thank God you aren't like that , I love you !" :D Most times he was fairly normal, but he had that little crazy streak in him that every so often went off.
