i have an old pewter belt buckle of a bat im thinking of using as a hood ornament .. whats my best bet jb weld a bolt on it?

Bolt it if you can. There are some good glues out there too.

jbweld claims to bond to pewter no problem... thinkin jbweld the bolts onto it then bolt it to the car.

its either that or weld two open end wrenches together in a crossbones type manner for my hood ornament... really like that also.

Looks cool and i would use jb weld seems to work well for me .

Drill and tap from the back as deep as you can without going clear through and thread in a short piece of allthread with locktite on it and then a nut on the other end!

I used silicone to attach 3" replica coins to the sides of my m/c gastank. Have been on there for 3 years now.
