Hey all,

Here are some pics of my build, I think I am going to go a little lower with the body, maybe? What do you all think? I also don't know if I should keep the back flat or if I should round it all out. Any and all suggestions and opinions good or bad will be appreciated.

The flat back on the cab seems a little abrupt, but I think what is hurting it the worst is the short wheelbase. The rear tires are crammed right up against the cab and it is making the proportions way off. I would stretch that chassis to get them farther back.

Nice job so far. I'll give a personal preference opinion since you asked. Like B.E.D., I'd like to see the rear set back a bit. I think the abrupt cab back would be okay if you put some kind of little short bed or something back there. I think you are doing fine for yourself there Pork.

I think the cab would be a bit tight with the back that close to the doors.I would extend it a few inches like the original cabs were, just for comfort and looks. And the rear end would need to be moved back to give a bit of space between cab and tires, plus some kind of short box would make a nicer transition from the tall cab down to the tires. But its coming along nice, should be a great ride and keep us updated ,You could always do some mock ups and post the pics to get more input.

You WILL need a panhard bar on the rear axle... you DO have spring shackles on the front springs, don't you (hard to see)?

You MAY need a panhard bar up front, too (the side steer makes it a less likely however those heim ends do move around a lot so be prepared).

Not to nitpick your truck but also I think you might need to bolt the rear end in better. It might hold up but I would be concerned the rear end might rotate in the U bolts with only one on each side.
