Ok I found an old junkyard today and was overwhelmed and took a crap load of pics and I want to share everyone of them. I need to know the best way possibly

This junk yard is absolutely full of classic cars. I saw model t and a fords. And everything else is primarily 40's and 50's a couple early 80'S untouched for year.

And it's all for sale

So if anyone can tell me now to post the pictures on here easily and large pics so y'all can see them that would be great

I like to use a host like photobucket. That way the pictures are full size and everyone doesn't have to click on every thumbnail to view them.
Otherwise just go down to the lower part of the page when you are typing a post and click "manage attachments" and it will walk you through that process.

And the Florida guys say there isn't any old tin!

Ok I have the album made and my thread started but I can't figure out how to get the pics from the album to the thread.

I tried through manage attachments and it says impropper file.

i used to be able to load pics from my pictures in my computer, something happened and now i can't. so i got a photobucket account and now i can put a link but still can't get the pics to show.

I always use photobucket for all my pictures. I have a couple thousand loaded on there. Then just use the direct links or you can even just give us the link to that album and you are done! Works great. Just don't ever move the pictures around on photobucket cause if you do then we can no longer see them on the forum.

after you upload the pics to photobucket, select the ones you want to show us. You hover the pointer over the thumbnail pic and a box shows up. Click that box. When you are done selecting the pics, go to the bottom of that page and it says something like CHOOSE ACTION. click that and select GENERATE LINK CODES FOR SELECTED. Then in the next screen it will show thumbnails or full sized (be sure to choose the one that says "IMG for bulletin boards & forums". Click inside one of those boxes and it will copy the links. THEN go back to the RRR forum and paste (Ctrl and V) the links into where you type your post. Then preview them to see if you got the pics you want to share. If so, hit SUBMIT REPLY. "WhoaLa", you're done.

i have done that and still get upload failure, i used to get them from my pictures and now get upload failure. i can go to most other sites and load pictures no problem but not here.

I was getting that you are pasting them in the manage attachments area. It doesnt work there.

Paste them directly where you type in the thread

that is where i'm putting the links, i tried every way i can come up with and no pic so i use a link. i had someone who knows more about computers at work try to help me, and even he couldn't. so that makes two computers that i can't post pics with, i guess i'll keep to the links.

I always hover on a photobucket pic, the box pops up, click on "IMG CODE", it will say "COPIED", the go back to the reply to thread box, left click, then right click, left click on "PASTE", and it will paste in the Img Code. Then when you submit the reply, you get nice big pics......
